Teasley will kick off Black History Month on February 1st!
Teachers and staff will be doing door decorating to highlight the month.
PTA is organizing and sponsoring an Art and Essay Contest for ALL Teasley students. As Teasley celebrates National Black History Month, students are challenged to think about the achievements of African Americans, how those achievements changed history, and our everyday modern lives. Use this time as an opportunity to reflect on how their contributions have positively impacted American history. Don’t limit your thinking to just key people, but review the collective history holistically. Be prepared to think outside of the box!
